JBL introduces Project Everest DD67000 loudspeaker at Rs 80 Lakh

JBL is all set to sell its new forthcoming Project Everest DD67000 loudspeaker which is priced at a whooping cost of 80 Lakh. Let's know all about this giant speaker product and why dose it cost so.?

Harman’s JBL has introduced Project Everest DD67000 loudspeaker which comes in rosewood and mapple finishes.

Project Everest DD67000 retains curved and angled surfaces with a flared midrange horn complemented by a carbon-fiber baffle trim panel design.

JBL DD67000 is equipped with two 1501AL-2 cast-aluminum-frame woofers. The loudspeaker features a three-layer laminated cone construction comprised of an inner and outer layer of pure pulp stock with an inner foam-injection-material core.

JBL DD67000 is further supported by accordion-pleated poly/cotton surround. Additional features include a 4-inch voice coil immersed in an Alnico 5DG magnet and a copper-steel-laminated top plate. DD67000’s compression driver uses a 1-inch beryllium diaphragm and 2-inch neodymium magnet to produce frequency response beyond 50kHz. Both compression drivers are mounted in JBL’s computer-optimized Bi-Radial horns that are made of SonoGlass material. Project Everest DD67000 employs a crossover network which is comprised of four separate circuit boards—one for each transducer—to optimize each board for each driver and its corresponding frequency range. The JBL Project Everest DD67000 is built with components including air-core inductors, polypropylene foil capacitors, wire-wound and metal oxide resistors. Project Everest DD67000 will be exclusively distributed in India by ‘Meilleur by Fairdeal Electronics’ and has been priced at Rs 80 Lakh.
